Windows 8 is an operating system given by Microsoft  & which is completely redesigned. The familiar start menu is now gone.

In this operating system,Icons and windows are replaced with live tiles and magazine styled. Unlike any previous versions, Windows 8 is also suitable for touch screen. So Windows 8 will work on Intel-based PCs or an ARM based tablet.


This step-by-step guide tells,how to install Microsoft Windows 8. You can follow this step if you have Windows 8.
The best way for installation is to do a clean install. Before we start the installation process I recommend that you check windows 8 requirements to ensure that your hardware is supported by Windows 8. 

If you don't have Windows 8 drivers for all your hardware, it's a Better idea For You to download all the drivers from the Website Of hardware manufacturer And save all the necessary drivers on your  CD/DVD or a USB drive before the installation of this windows.


Windows 8 DVD is bootable. In order to boot this from the DVD, you need to set the boot sequence. Look for the boot sequence under your Bios setup Menu Of Your System and make sure that the first boot device is selected to CD-ROM/DVD-ROM Or Any Other Device.



Step 1 - Place your Windows 8 DVD in your cd/DVD-ROM drive and Power On your PC. Press Esc Key While Start Up Windows 8 You will get the following screen with a rotating progress bar.





Step 2 - The next screen shows to set  your time and language. Choose your settings as per requirement and click next to continue.


Step 3 - The next screen shows you to install or repair Windows 8. As we are doing a clean install so, click on "install now".


Step 4-  The setup process starts. At this stage, we need product key that came with your copy of Windows. Enter product key and Click next once when you entered the product key correctly.


Read the license terms and mark on  I accept license terms. Then click next to continue.



Step 5 - Choose the type of installation that you want to do. Since we are doing a clean install so we  need to click on the custom option.


Step 6 -  Choose where you would like to install Windows 8 on your computer.
You can click next to continue then go to step 8.
If you have more than one partition on your computer then you need to select C drive  and click next. At this stage, you can go to step 8.


If you want to  partition a large drive then don't click on next option. Go to next step.
If you want to partition an existing drive then click new.
Choose the size of the partition and click apply.
Now,
Click OK to create the partition of your drives. Windows will create additional system partition don't have to worry about.



Step 7 - Now, you will notice that you have 3 partitions. Partition 1 is reserved for system.
So leave this partition .
Space Of Partition 2 is 30GB primary partition Which Is  created by you in the last step.


The third partition is unallocated which means it is not being used.
Choose partition 2 (Primary Partition).
This is where we will install Windows 8. Click next option to continue.


Step 8 

At this stage, Windows starts to copy your files & folders to your hard drive and begins the installation of your windows. This process might take a few minutes.

 - When finished,your system shows restarting.



Step 9 - Choose your PC name and personalize the color.


Step 10 - Here you choose to customize to make further customization.


After this, you will get 2 options.


Step 11 - Choose Yes, turn on sharing and connect to devices.



Step 12 –  protect and update your PC. Choose the option that you want and click next.



Step 13 To make Windows and apps better send Microsoft info.
You can also leave the default settings then,

 Click next to continue.



Step 14 –  you can Check online for solutions to the problem you can also leave the default settings. Then,


Click next to continue.


Step 15 - Sign in to your PC. Here you can login to your PC using a Microsoft email account
.

If you don't have a Microsoft account then create a local user name,

Click Sign in without a Microsoft account.
Then,

Click local account.

Here you can choose a local user name and password.

Choose finish to continue.

Done!

Windows 8 is ready.
